RED RIVER HOOKERS:

The ‘Red River Hookers’ is a loosely formed group of anglers and supporters.

It’s mission statement is quite simple:

• The Red River is an outstanding fishery and we intend to keep it that way.
   
• The ‘Red River Hookers’ is a completely volunteer driven group, and every penny they receive goes back into promoting the Red River.

• We believe fishing should be promoted as a family sport and pastime. Children and women, as well as mothers and wives, are encouraged to participate in this phenomenal fishery.
   
• We encourage ‘catch and release’ of larger game fish to preserve the fishery. We support stewardship such as reporting violators, poachers and discouraging littering.
   
• We believe this can be achieved in a multitude of ways including selling logo driven promotional material, lobbying political offices, and advertising through traditional media and through non-traditional media such as the Internet.
